Our Beautiful Location!

While flying in an airplane over Glen Haven in June, Dale DeJager snapped this stunning photo. Notice the submerged dock pilings and imagine back to the late 1800’s when Great Lakes ships traveled to Glen Haven to fuel with cord wood and travelers were refreshed at Sleeping Bear Inn.

This past week has been very productive at the Inn and Garage as several community volunteers and an AmeriCorps team from Youth Works joined us at the work site. In addition, Merlyn our electrician installed the rough electrical infrastructure in both the first and second stories of the Garage.
