A Generous Gift for our Lawn!

We are very grateful for the donation of 4 handcrafted chairs from Mike and Jo Muston of Roscommon MI. Mike made the chairs in his workshop over the past winter specifically for Sleeping Bear Inn. Can you picture yourself relaxing in one of these on our front lawn gazing out to Lake Michigan with a glass of Sleeping Bear Inn lemonade? We sure can! Thank you Mike and Jo.

As with past weeks, this one has been very productive at Sleeping Bear Inn. We were able to break up and remove most of the concrete that had been lipped up on the siding of the south and west sides of the Inn. Unfortunately that concrete created a great deal of rot as rainwater and snow had no place to drain. We anticipated this and are preparing to address the issue so Sleeping Bear Inn can remain standing straight for another 166 years.
