1928 Amenity

When we opened the Inn for the community to tour this past April 8th and 9th prior to renovation, we heard several stories from past guests and former Inn employees. The most commonly mentioned item were these corkscrew/bottle openers that were attached to the door jambs in every guest room. There weren’t many amenities in the rooms, however each room did have a sink, mirror and this useful little tool.

In keeping with the tradition, each guest room will once again sport this amenity and a few others will be placed in fun locations on the first floor for dining guests to enjoy. In 1928 when indoor plumbing and electricity were added to the Inn, guests shared 2 bathrooms located on the second story. In 2023, guests will enjoy bathrooms located within their guest rooms as well as many other amenities, including a corkscrew/bottle opener.
